Thermoset Manufacturing Technologies
Proprietary structural (long fiber) and in-mold color molding processes
RSM™
Robotic open mold process (polyester base resin)
-
Camoplast's unique RSM™ process features extensive use of robotics and automation for open-mold fiberglass fabrication to obtain high repeatability, consistency and control.
-
Camoplast composites also offer weather-tested and durable gel coat surface finishes, which
meet your specifications while eliminating the need for a topcoat.
CLF™
Robotic close mold process (urethane base resin)
-
Camoplast's unique CLF™ long glass fibers are injected along with polyurethane resin in a one-step close mold process which reduces atmospheric emissions and decreases energy consumption.
-
The robot is programmed to move over the mold cavity while simultaneously dispensing both the long glass fibers and the polyurethane resin as in an open- pour method. At the end of the pour,
the mold is closed to form the part in a low- pressure process.
-
The CLF™ techology offers a wide variety of in-mold colors which are beneficial compared to post paint activities.
